In
the village of Al-Ghadeer, Zamel Al-hori was
complaining of an acute pain in his abdomen. So
severe was his pain that his screams thunder- bolted
in the sky.
Totally baffled, his folk were pondering on what to
do to rescue him?
The nearest doctor was thirty kilometers away. No
means of transportation was available but a bus that
stops by the village every day...
Many gathered around the young man .With their
hearts wrenching with pain, they did not know what
they should do.
They brought him the blind old, wise woman of the
village called "Khamissa". She ordered them to light
fire at once. She heated a rod of iron until it
turned red and glazed. Exposing his abdomen, she
cauterized, with all confidence, the place of pain.
Zamel screamed, and the echo of his screaming
reverberated in every corner of the village. He lost
consciousness.

successful surgery to remove the gallbladder. But
